Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to different property types in Grand Rapids?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to historic storefronts along the river, provide the business name and any secondary entrance details if the main door is restricted to foot traffic. For residential properties outside the village center, include specific instructions for porches or side entries for homes set back from the main road. These details ensure the driver identifies the correct entry point among clustered village buildings and deep rural lots.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered across the village and surrounding rural areas?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to accommodate the specific layout of village porches and farm properties. Provide instructions on where to leave the item if the front entrance sits directly on the sidewalk or is inaccessible from the street. Specific access details help the driver navigate the transition from narrow village streets to spread-out residential lanes.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not available or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is unavailable, the driver places the arrangement in a protected area on the porch or at a designated service entrance. If a specific flower is unavailable, a local designer selects a substitute of equal value that maintains the arrangement's style. Including a recipient phone number and notes about long gravel drives or hidden house numbers prevents failed delivery attempts.
