Question 1

How do you handle flower deliveries to homes and businesses in Portage?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to residential streets and the small commercial buildings along the main highway require a specific house or suite number at checkout. For administrative offices or shared buildings, include the department name so the driver locates the correct door. These details prevent confusion between the street-front businesses and the homes located immediately behind them.

Question 2

How will my flowers be delivered to the recipient?

Accepted Answer

Every arrangement is hand-delivered to accommodate the low-density layout and wide residential lots. Drivers use the available driveway or street parking to bring the flowers directly to the front door or porch. Include instructions for homes with long driveways or side-entry porches to help the driver find the best drop-off point.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is away, the driver leaves the flowers at the front door or a designated side entrance as noted on your order. When a specific flower is out of stock, a substitution of equal value and color is made to keep the arrangement complete. Providing a recipient phone number helps the driver confirm the location if the house is set back from the road.
