Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to professional suites and funeral homes in Milltown?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to the small professional suites and funeral homes along the main thoroughfares, provide the specific suite number or parlor name at checkout. These buildings often have shared entryways and limited street parking, so the business name is required for the driver to find the correct door. For residential addresses, note if the primary entrance is located on the side or rear of the house.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered to residential properties in this borough?

Accepted Answer

Every arrangement is hand-delivered to account for the dense residential layout and the common presence of front porches or stoops. Provide instructions if the property has a fenced-in yard or a gate that requires a code for access. This information helps drivers navigate the narrow side streets and limited parking areas effectively.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is away, the driver will leave the flowers in a secure spot like a porch or side entryway because most local homes lack a lobby or concierge. When a specific flower is not in stock, a variety of equal value will be substituted to maintain the arrangement's size and style. Including the recipient's phone number helps the driver verify the delivery location if the house number is not clearly visible from the narrow roadway.
