Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to local medical facilities, funeral homes, and offices?

Accepted Answer

Provide the specific wing or department when sending to the town's healthcare facility or funeral home. For downtown professional offices, note if the entrance is a shared hallway or a direct street-level door. These details are necessary to navigate the unique floor plans of the village's historic building stock.

Question 2

How are the flowers delivered and how does the town layout affect the process?

Accepted Answer

Flowers are hand-delivered directly to the door rather than shipped in a box. This method works best for the village layout, which features many homes with front stairs and older storefronts with no loading zones. Identifying the preferred entrance for houses with multiple porches helps the driver find the correct drop-off point quickly.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home, the driver leaves the flowers in a safe area on the porch or with a next-door neighbor. If a particular flower is missing, a similar one of equal value will be used to complete the design. Giving the recipient's phone number is the best way to prevent issues at properties situated on the sloping hills overlooking the river.
