Question 1

How do deliveries work for healthcare facilities, funeral homes, and residential properties in Philo?

Accepted Answer

Provide the room number for clinics or the name of the deceased for funeral home services. Because many residential properties sit on steep hillsides above the river, specify if the primary entrance is on the upper or lower street level. These details ensure the driver finds the correct porch on multi-level lots.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered in this area and what access details are needed?

Accepted Answer

All flowers are hand-delivered to accommodate the gravel roads and winding riverside lanes. For houses set back from the road, indicate if the driveway is shared with another property. This information helps the driver reach the front door without stopping on the narrow main thoroughfares.

Question 3

What happens if a delivery cannot be completed as planned or a recipient is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not home, the driver places the flowers on a porch sheltered from the river valley wind. If a specific bloom is unavailable, a similar flower is used to maintain the arrangement's height and style. Including a secondary phone number is necessary for rural properties where the house is not visible from the mailbox.
