Question 1

How does delivery work for hospitals, funeral homes, and offices in Hicksville?

Accepted Answer

This village contains many businesses in converted residential houses and storefronts with shared entryways. You must provide the suite number or specific business name for these multi-tenant buildings at checkout. This ensures the driver enters the correct door instead of leaving flowers at a locked street-side entrance.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered to homes in this area?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered to accommodate the deep setbacks and large porches found on most residential streets here. Note whether the home has a screened porch or a preferred side-door drop-off point at checkout. These details help the delivery person find a spot that is sheltered from the sidewalk and street view.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is away, the driver looks for a sheltered porch area or leaves the arrangement with a neighbor at an adjacent open-access property. We substitute unavailable flowers with stems of equal value that match the original color and scale. Providing a recipient phone number helps the driver navigate the long, private driveways common on the rural edges of the village.
