Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to local apartment complexes and funeral homes?

Accepted Answer

For garden-style apartment clusters, provide the specific building letter and unit number to ensure the driver finds the correct entryway. Deliveries to funeral homes located on the main thoroughfare require the name of the deceased and the time of the service. This allows the driver to use the side staging areas before the public viewing begins.

Question 2

How are the flowers delivered to residential properties?

Accepted Answer

Every order is hand-delivered to the recipient's door rather than shipped in a box. Drivers on these residential blocks typically use street parking to reach the front porch or a side entrance. Mentioning a preferred drop-off spot behind a storm door helps keep the arrangement out of view from the road.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home, the driver looks for a shaded porch or leaves the gift with a neighboring resident. If a specific flower is unavailable, the designer uses a substitute of equal value that matches the original color palette. Including a phone number helps the driver find the house when numbers are set back from the curb or obscured by landscaping.
