Question 1

How does delivery work for different building types in Dunellen?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to the borough's older residential houses, flowers are brought directly to the front porch or primary street-level entrance. If sending to the newer multi-story apartments or storefronts along the main commercial corridor, you must include a unit number and any necessary entry codes. These details help drivers navigate the transition from quiet residential blocks to the busy central business district where street parking is limited.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered across the borough's layout?

Accepted Answer

Every arrangement is hand-delivered to accommodate the borough’s compact grid of narrow residential streets. This method avoids the risks of boxed shipping and allows drivers to manage the tight parking found near downtown businesses and the transit line. Providing specific instructions for side-door access or shared porches helps the driver complete the hand-off without blocking traffic.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not available to receive the flowers?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home, the driver will place the flowers in a shaded spot on the porch or behind a stoop to keep them out of view from the sidewalk. If a specific bloom is out of stock, a similar flower of equal value is used to ensure the order is not delayed. Including a recipient phone number is the best way to resolve access issues at multi-family properties or buildings with secured entries.
