Question 1

How does delivery work for local hospitals, funeral homes, and offices?

Accepted Answer

Drivers navigate both the dense storefronts of the historic downtown corridor and the sprawling medical campuses located on the city's outskirts. For medical centers, you must provide the specific wing or department name because these facilities have multiple separate entrances. When sending to funeral homes located in converted residential properties, specify the service time to ensure the driver uses the designated floral delivery entrance.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered and how does the city’s layout affect the drop-off?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered to accommodate the mix of clustered downtown apartments and residential homes with long, private drives. If the destination is a business on the main commercial strip, include the suite number to help the courier find the correct door in shared parking lots. For homes set back significantly from the road, provide instructions on where the driver can safely pull off the main thoroughfare.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is unavailable or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

When a recipient is not home, drivers look for a protected porch or side entry typical of the city's older residential architecture to keep the arrangement secure. If a specific flower is unavailable, we use a substitute of equal value that maintains the same color scheme and style. Including a recipient's phone number helps our drivers resolve access issues at multi-unit buildings or gated properties without returning the flowers to the shop.
