Question 1

How does delivery work for hospitals, offices, and secured buildings in this city?

Accepted Answer

Provide the specific building name and room or suite number for deliveries to the college campus, medical center, or downtown offices. These details are required because many campus buildings use key-card access and downtown storefronts share narrow street access. Including a department name ensures the courier can navigate the multiple entrances found at the city's large medical and industrial complexes.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered and how does the city layout affect the drop-off?

Accepted Answer

Every arrangement is hand-delivered to manage the transition from the dense historic center to the sprawling residential areas with long driveways. In the college district, deliveries are brought to the central mailroom or front desk as couriers cannot access individual dorm rooms. For residential orders, specify if there is a side door or porch that is preferred for drop-offs.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is unavailable or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not available at a residence, the courier will leave the flowers on a porch or with a neighbor if the area is open access. For deliveries to the large manufacturing facilities or restricted medical wings, the items will be left at the main security or reception desk. Providing a recipient phone number helps the courier gain entry to the locked student housing or gated residential communities.
