Question 1

How does delivery work for hospitals, funeral homes, and offices in Dalton?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to funeral homes or offices in Dalton require a specific room or department name. Buildings in the village center have entrances directly on the sidewalk, so specify if the delivery should go to a side or back door. This ensures the driver finds the correct access point where residential and business doors are close together.

Question 2

Are flowers delivered by hand or in a box, and how does the city layout affect this?

Accepted Answer

Every order is hand-delivered to manage the mix of tight village lots and long rural driveways. For homes set far back from the road, provide details about gate codes or the color of the entrance marker. This prevents the driver from missing the property when the house is hidden from the street.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not there or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is out, the driver looks for a porch or entryway sheltered from the open fields of the surrounding farmland. If a specific bloom is unavailable, it is replaced with a similar flower of equal value to maintain the design. A phone number helps the driver if your house number is only listed on a mailbox grouped with others at the end of a rural road.
