Question 1

How do you handle flower deliveries to the local motels and seasonal rental properties?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to multi-story motels and seasonal rentals, enter the room number and the name of the primary guest registered at the front office. Because many of these properties have exterior walkways instead of central lobbies, these details help the driver find the specific unit door. Providing a cell phone number for the recipient is required for properties with gated parking or limited street access.

Question 2

Are the flowers hand-delivered or shipped in a box?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered to navigate the city’s tight grid layout and frequent street parking limitations. In areas with high pedestrian traffic or blocks near the beach, drivers must often walk from designated loading zones to reach the door. Including details about side entrances or unit letters for small cottages helps the driver avoid delays caused by restricted vehicle access.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not there when the driver arrives?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not at a motel, we check with the management office to see if they are authorized to hold the delivery for the guest. At private residences with open-access porches or high foot traffic, we will not leave the arrangement without direct confirmation from the recipient. Including a local contact number reduces failed deliveries when building access is limited to registered guests.
