Question 1

How does delivery work for the historic inns and guest houses in this city?

Accepted Answer

Many addresses in this city are multi-unit Victorian guest houses or historic inns with shared main entrances. You must provide the recipient’s registered name and their specific room or suite number at checkout. These details are required for the driver to correctly identify the recipient within these large, communal residential layouts.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered to homes with large porches or gated entries?

Accepted Answer

All flowers are hand-delivered to account for the narrow streets and limited street parking found throughout the historic district. If the property has a wrap-around porch or a gated garden entry, please include instructions on which door the driver should approach. This information helps us place the arrangement in a secure, shaded area of the porch if the recipient is not home.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is a seasonal visitor or is not available?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not available, the driver will leave the flowers with the innkeeper or at the guest house front desk. Since many people in this city are seasonal visitors, providing a cell phone number for the recipient helps us confirm they are still on-site for delivery. If a specific flower is unavailable, we substitute it with a bloom of equal value that matches the original color and style.
