Question 1

How do you handle flower deliveries to different types of buildings in Somerville?

Accepted Answer

We deliver to both the dense downtown corridor and the large medical and office campuses on the outskirts of town. For deliveries to large campuses, you must provide the specific building letter and suite number so the driver can locate the correct reception desk. For downtown apartments where the front door is flush with the sidewalk, include any buzzer codes or gate instructions needed for entry.

Question 2

How will my flowers be delivered within the city?

Accepted Answer

Every order is hand-delivered directly to the recipient rather than shipped in a cardboard box. In the walkable downtown area where street parking is limited, we prioritize direct hand-offs to office staff or residents. In the suburban residential areas, we leave the flowers at the primary entrance if the recipient is not home and the area is secure.

Question 3

What happens if there are issues with the recipient or the specific flowers I chose?

Accepted Answer

If a recipient is unavailable at a building with direct sidewalk access and no vestibule, we will call them to coordinate a safe drop-off. If a specific flower is not in stock, we use a similar bloom of equal value to keep the arrangement the same size and style. Including a local phone number for the recipient helps us navigate secured multi-unit buildings and large corporate properties.
