Question 1

How do you ensure flowers reach the correct location in Put In Bay?

Accepted Answer

You must provide the specific cottage name or dock slip number at checkout to ensure successful delivery. These details are required because many island properties are clustered together and lack standard street-front mailboxes. Including a local mobile number helps the driver find recipients who are staying at temporary vacation rentals or marinas.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered given the island's layout and traffic?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered to navigate the high volume of golf cart and pedestrian traffic in the village center. Couriers walk the arrangements to the door for properties located on narrow roads that cannot accommodate standard delivery vehicles. Providing gate codes for private docks or secured residential clusters prevents delays at entry points.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is unavailable or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is out on the water or away from their rental, the driver will call the provided number to coordinate a safe placement. Because all inventory arrives via the daily ferry, we use the best available seasonal blooms to maintain the chosen style if lake conditions delay a specific variety. Providing a secondary contact person who is also on the island helps avoid failed deliveries when a recipient is unreachable.
