Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to the various types of buildings in Metuchen?

Accepted Answer

For the mixed-use buildings in the downtown district, you must provide the specific floor and suite number for the apartments located above street-level shops. If the property has a shared secure vestibule or a keypad entry, include those access codes in your order details. This ensures the driver can navigate the separate residential and commercial entrances found throughout the borough.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered given the layout of the local streets?

Accepted Answer

Every order is hand-delivered to accommodate the compact residential blocks and older homes with front porches. Drivers use side-street access and designated loading zones to reach properties where main-road parking is restricted. Providing a phone number is helpful for properties with fenced-in yards or narrow walkways that require specific entry instructions.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is unavailable, the driver will leave the arrangement in a sheltered spot on the porch or with a neighbor in the closely spaced residential row. If a specific flower is out of stock, we use a substitute of equal value that matches the original color palette. Accurate recipient contact information is necessary to resolve delivery issues on streets with heavy commuter traffic or limited idling space.
