Question 1

How does delivery work for offices and apartments in Hawthorne?

Accepted Answer

Hawthorne features many professional offices located in converted residential houses and small multi-unit complexes without central reception desks. You must provide the specific suite number or floor level so the driver can find the correct entrance within these shared buildings. For residential apartment buildings, include any entry codes needed to access secure hallways or lobbies.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered given the local street layout?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered to navigate the borough’s narrow residential driveways and limited street parking near the commercial center. Drivers manage one-way traffic patterns by walking arrangements directly to the porch or storefront entrance. Identifying whether the property uses a front, side, or rear door helps the driver complete the delivery without delay.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not available or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home, the driver will place the arrangement in a secure spot, such as a screened-in porch or behind a railing, to keep it hidden from the sidewalk. If a specific flower is unavailable, a similar variety is substituted to keep the same color and style. Providing a recipient phone number is the best way to ensure delivery if the property has a fenced yard or a locked gate.
