Question 1

How does delivery work for multi-unit buildings and offices in Haledon?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to multi-family houses and professional offices require specific unit or suite numbers to navigate shared entrances. Provide the room number or floor for properties with secured common areas to ensure the driver is granted entry. These details are required because many Haledon buildings have multiple businesses or families sharing one street-level door.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered given the layout of Haledon?

Accepted Answer

Flowers are hand-delivered rather than shipped in boxes to accommodate the borough’s steep terrain and narrow street parking. Drivers walk the arrangement to the door to avoid blocking traffic on tight residential roads. Mentioning if the property has a high porch or a side gate helps the driver find the safest placement.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not home, the driver looks for a shielded spot on the porch or behind a railing to keep the gift out of view from the street. When a specific bloom is unavailable, the florist uses a substitute of equal value to complete the design. Providing a phone number for the recipient allows the driver to request access to multi-family homes with locked entryways.
