Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to professional buildings and houses in Conneaut?

Accepted Answer

For the medical buildings near the harbor and professional offices downtown, you must provide the suite number and department name at checkout. For residential deliveries on the grid of side streets, specify if the driver should use the front porch or a side entrance. These details ensure the driver finds the correct door in areas where houses are close together or offices share a single street address.

Question 2

Will my flowers be left outside or delivered by hand?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered rather than shipped in boxes to accommodate the city's mix of detached homes and lakefront properties. Drivers use street-side mailboxes and house numbers to identify the correct residence among the set-back lakeside lots. Providing instructions for shared driveways or gated lakefront paths helps the driver reach the door without delay.

Question 3

What is the process if the recipient is not home or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home at a detached residence, the driver identifies a porch area sheltered from lake winds to leave the delivery. When a specific flower is unavailable, the driver uses the recipient’s phone number to coordinate a secondary delivery time or a safe drop-off with a neighbor. Providing a direct contact number prevents the driver from leaving the arrangement at an unsecured residential entrance.
