Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to local medical centers, funeral homes, and professional offices?

Accepted Answer

Provide the department name, room number, or suite number for the large-scale healthcare and professional buildings located near the main thoroughfares. For commercial buildings with restricted lobbies, include the recipient's direct phone number so the driver can coordinate with front-desk staff. These details ensure the arrangement reaches the correct person within these multi-wing and multi-story structures.

Question 2

Will my flowers be hand-delivered or shipped in a box?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered to accommodate the city’s mix of dense historic lakefront blocks and spread-out residential streets. For properties with long driveways or houses set back from the road, please provide any gate codes or specific entry instructions. This allows the driver to place the flowers directly at the front door rather than near the street.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a specific flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If no one is available, flowers are left in a sheltered spot protected from lakefront winds and visibility from the sidewalk. If a specific flower is out of stock, it is replaced with a similar stem of equal value to maintain the look of the arrangement. Including a secondary contact number is helpful for deliveries to multi-unit residential buildings where outdoor buzzers are required for entry.
