Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to professional buildings and residential areas in Baltimore?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries are made to front porches of houses and the main reception desks of small professional offices or clinics. For funeral homes or medical facilities along the main village corridors, you must provide the specific service time or department name at checkout. This information ensures the driver finds the correct street-level entrance for these low-rise properties.

Question 2

What delivery method is used for the village's residential layout?

Accepted Answer

Flowers are hand-delivered in water rather than shipped in boxes to suit the area's mix of single-family homes and open-access properties. The driver brings the arrangement directly to the door or the designated office entrance. Providing details about whether a house is set back from the road or shares a driveway helps avoid navigation delays.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not available at a local residence?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home, the driver will leave the flowers in a sheltered spot on the porch or by the front door. If a specific flower is unavailable, it is replaced with a similar variety of equal value to maintain the design. Providing a recipient phone number is necessary for properties where the house is positioned behind another building or is not clearly visible from the curb.
