Question 1

How does delivery work for hospitals, funeral homes, and offices in New Waterford?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to the village center require a street address and house number, while rural route properties need specific mailbox or driveway descriptions. For funeral homes or small businesses along the main road, provide the specific building entrance or room number at checkout. These details help drivers distinguish between adjacent residential properties and commercial spaces in areas where GPS can be imprecise.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered in this area and how does the layout affect the drop-off?

Accepted Answer

Every order is hand-delivered to homes in the village grid and along the outlying rural roads. Because many properties have long driveways or lack clearly visible street numbers, noting the house color or porch location prevents delays. Provide any necessary gate access codes for private residential entries during the checkout process to ensure the driver can reach the front door.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not there or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is away, the driver looks for a side door or porch protected from the wind and shielded from road view. When a specific flower is unavailable, we substitute it with a similar variety currently in the local shop to ensure the delivery is completed on the requested day. Including a secondary phone number for the recipient helps the driver confirm the location for homes set back significantly from the main road.
