Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to medical facilities and secure buildings in Mentor?

Accepted Answer

Many medical campuses in this city consist of multiple separate buildings and specialized wings spread across large grounds. You must provide the specific building letter or department name at checkout so the driver can locate the correct entrance. For gated senior living communities, include the entry code or the name of the primary reception desk.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered in Mentor and what affects the drop-off?

Accepted Answer

Every order is hand-delivered directly to the recipient’s door or desk rather than being shipped in a cardboard box. This city's suburban layout of wide residential streets and large commercial lots allows for direct access to main entryways. Providing instructions for properties with long driveways or side-entry porches helps prevent delays in locating the primary door.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is unavailable or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not present at a residential address, the driver will look for a shielded spot on the porch or leave the arrangement with a nearby neighbor. When a specific flower is unavailable, a substitute of equal value is used to keep the overall look and size of the arrangement. Including the recipient’s phone number is necessary for navigating detached office parks or complex commercial suites.
