Question 1

How will my flowers be delivered to a home or building in Longport?

Accepted Answer

This borough is primarily residential, so deliveries are made directly to the front door or porch of private homes. Provide the specific street-side entrance or gate code at checkout to ensure the driver can access the property. These details are necessary because many residences here are multi-story buildings positioned closely together along narrow coastal blocks.

Question 2

How does the city’s layout affect the way my flowers are delivered?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered by drivers who navigate the narrow residential streets and limited street parking. This method prevents the damage that occurs with boxed shipping and ensures the flowers reach the correct porch or entry stairs. Clear instructions regarding side-street access or specific house numbers help the driver find the right location on the peninsula.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If no one is available, the driver places the flowers in a protected area on the porch to shield them from the steady coastal wind. If a specific flower is unavailable, the florist uses a similar bloom of equal value to keep the arrangement the correct size. Providing a reachable phone number for the recipient helps the driver confirm the delivery at properties with high stairs or gated perimeters.
