Question 1

How are deliveries coordinated for the residential properties in Island Heights?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to the residential properties here require a specific porch or door location at checkout. The Victorian homes have wraparound porches or secondary entrances that are set back from the narrow streets. Providing the exact door or side-gate location ensures the driver reaches the correct entry point.

Question 2

What is the delivery process for the borough's specific layout?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered to the door to accommodate the borough’s steep hills and pedestrian-heavy walkways. The compact layout requires walking arrangements from the narrow streets to the front entrance. Clear house numbers and notes about porch access help prevent delays when navigating these tiered properties.

Question 3

How are delivery issues managed in this coastal environment?

Accepted Answer

If a recipient is not home, the arrangement is placed in a shaded area on the porch to protect it from the river breeze. If a specific stem is unavailable, a similar flower of equal value is used to maintain the design's scale. Including a secondary contact number helps if the property has a locked gate or a hidden entrance common in this community.
