Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to secured buildings and professional offices in Irvington?

Accepted Answer

We deliver to the front desk or security station of multi-story professional buildings and residential apartment complexes. Provide the apartment or suite number and any gate or buzzer codes at checkout. These details are required because most high-density buildings in this area require staff check-in or badge access to enter.

Question 2

How are the flowers delivered and how does the city layout affect the process?

Accepted Answer

Flowers are hand-carried to the door to navigate the limited curbside parking and narrow residential streets. In multi-family dwellings, the delivery person uses the intercom system for direct hand-off. Providing a secondary contact number helps coordinate access when street parking is restricted near the entrance.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a specific flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If a building has no secure foyer and the recipient is away, we call them to find a safe hand-off location. When a specific flower is out of stock, we use a substitute of equal value that matches the design. A mobile number for the recipient is necessary to avoid failed deliveries at multi-tenant properties where items cannot be left unattended in common areas.
