Question 1

How does delivery work for hospitals, funeral homes, offices, or secured buildings in this city?

Accepted Answer

This area consists primarily of residential homes built on steep hillsides and narrow roads surrounding the water. For deliveries to these residences or small local offices, you must provide the exact house number and any specific instructions for finding the front door. These details are necessary because many properties have long, shared driveways or entrances that are not visible from the main road.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered in this city and how does the layout affect drop-offs?

Accepted Answer

All flowers are hand-delivered to accommodate the borough’s winding streets and significant elevation changes. This method prevents arrangements from shifting while navigating the tight turns and steep inclines common in lakefront neighborhoods. Providing a gate code or specific access instructions for properties with limited street parking helps the driver reach the door without delay.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is unavailable or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If a recipient is not home, the driver identifies a secure location on the property that is shielded from the wind and lake moisture. If a specific flower is unavailable, it is replaced with a bloom of similar shape and color to maintain the original design. Providing a working phone number for the recipient allows the driver to coordinate delivery for homes with difficult physical access or hidden entrances.
