Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to apartment complexes and secured buildings in Fairview?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to the dense multi-family homes and high-rise apartments along the ridge, you must provide a unit number and buzzer code at checkout. If the building has a secured entrance without a concierge, include the recipient’s phone number so the driver can coordinate access. This prevents the arrangement from being left in an unsecured vestibule or on a high-traffic sidewalk.

Question 2

Will my flowers be delivered by a local driver or shipped in a box?

Accepted Answer

All flowers are hand-delivered to navigate the steep hills and limited street parking common throughout this borough. Hand delivery ensures the arrangement remains upright while the driver manages narrow residential streets and multi-story walk-ups. Providing specific instructions for side doors or gate codes helps the driver avoid delays caused by restricted street access.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is unavailable, the driver will look for a neighbor or a secured foyer since the lack of private porches on most blocks makes outdoor placement difficult. If a specific flower is unavailable, a substitute of equal value is used to ensure your delivery arrives on the requested date. Including a secondary contact number reduces the chance of a failed delivery in high-density residential areas.
