Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to the different types of residences in Chesterfield Township?

Accepted Answer

For homes in the dense residential clusters, please specify if the entrance is on the main sidewalk or through a rear alleyway. In the rural agricultural areas, provide gate codes or descriptions for long driveways to help the driver locate the house. These details ensure the delivery reaches the correct door in areas where properties are spaced far apart.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered to ensure they arrive safely across the township?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to navigate the township's combination of pedestrian-oriented streets and unpaved rural lanes. If the destination is a private estate with a perimeter fence, please include entry instructions in the delivery notes. Hand delivery allows for careful placement on a porch or with a designated building attendant.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not available or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

When a recipient is not home, the driver will leave the item in a sheltered spot like a covered porch or a side breezeway. If a specific flower is unavailable, the florist uses seasonal stems that match the size and style of the original order. Providing a recipient’s phone number is necessary for homes that are set far back from the public road.
