Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to the academic campus and secured administrative offices?

Accepted Answer

Provide the specific building name, department, and room number for all deliveries to the campus or private school offices. These institutions require drivers to leave items at a central reception desk or a secure mailroom. A direct phone number for the recipient helps the driver navigate restricted building access.

Question 2

Will my flowers be left in a box or hand-delivered?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered because the residential properties here have deep front setbacks and long walkways that make boxed shipping impractical. Drivers walk the flowers directly to the front door or a side entrance to keep them away from the public sidewalk. Mentioning if a house has a gated driveway or a preferred side-door entrance ensures the driver reaches the correct door.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a specific flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If no one answers, the driver identifies a sheltered spot on the porch or a side entry that is out of view from high-traffic pedestrian sidewalks. If a specific flower is unavailable, a substitute of equal value is used to keep the arrangement’s size and color profile the same. Providing the recipient's phone number allows for coordination if the property has restricted porch access.
