Question 1

How does delivery work for hospitals, funeral homes, offices, or secured buildings in Amherst?

Accepted Answer

For medical complexes and senior living facilities, couriers deliver to the main reception desk or a designated delivery entrance. Provide the specific department or room number at checkout so the facility staff can direct the arrangement. For professional offices downtown, include the floor number and suite for properties with shared entryways.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered in this city?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to accommodate the deep residential setbacks and long driveways found in many local subdivisions. This method ensures flowers reach the front door of single-family homes rather than being left at a mailbox or roadside. If the property is a multi-unit building without a concierge, include the entry code or buzzing instructions to avoid access delays.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is unavailable or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home, the courier will leave the arrangement in a sheltered spot at the residence or with a neighbor if porch access is restricted. If a specific bloom is unavailable, a similar flower of equal value is used to maintain the style of the arrangement. Providing a recipient phone number is the most effective way to prevent failed deliveries to newer residential developments with similar street names.
