Question 1

How are deliveries handled for major facilities and offices in Mount Gilead?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to the low-rise medical campus or government offices near the village center, provide the specific department or room number. These buildings have multiple public entrances, so identifying the correct wing ensures the driver finds the right location. For funeral homes housed in converted historic residences, include the name of the service to ensure placement in the correct parlor.

Question 2

What is the delivery process for residential areas and rural routes?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to accommodate the village's mix of street-level storefronts and detached homes. Provide specific instructions for properties with long gravel drives or homes that sit behind larger roadside lots. Identifying a side-door or porch preference helps drivers navigate the narrow residential streets found near the village core.

Question 3

What happens if the delivery cannot be completed as planned?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is unavailable, the driver will leave the item on a secure porch or with a neighbor in these residential neighborhoods. If a specific flower is out of stock, it will be replaced with a bloom of equal value that matches the style. Providing a contact number is essential for rural routes where house numbers are often obscured or set far back from the main road.
