Question 1

How does delivery work for offices and medical buildings in Washington?

Accepted Answer

Medical buildings and professional offices in the borough require a suite number for delivery to the main reception area. Residential deliveries to historic multi-unit homes must specify if the entrance is at the front, side, or rear of the property. These details help the driver find the correct door where street parking is limited.

Question 2

Will my flowers be delivered in a box or by hand?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to navigate the mix of tight borough street parking and the long, uphill driveways in the outskirts. The driver carries the flowers directly to the door or the building's designated receiving area. Providing entry codes for secured residential clusters prevents delays at the gate.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not there to receive the flowers?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not home, the driver identifies a shaded porch or leaves the arrangement with a neighbor or front-desk attendant. If a specific flower is unavailable, it is replaced with a stem of equal value to maintain the size of the design. A recipient phone number is used to verify house locations on the wooded roads outside the central grid.
