Question 1

How do you handle flower deliveries to local campuses and secured buildings?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to the university campus or multi-story apartment buildings, you must include the specific building name and room or suite number at checkout. These locations often have restricted access or central mail rooms that require exact destination details for the delivery person. Providing a recipient phone number allows for coordination with security desks or campus staff.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered across the different residential and commercial areas?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to accommodate the transition from the dense downtown center to the steep, winding driveways in the residential hills. We do not use boxed shipping because person-to-person delivery is necessary for homes with long walkways or limited street parking. Specific instructions about side doors or porch access help ensure the flowers reach the recipient without delay.

Question 3

What happens if the delivery cannot be completed as planned?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not available, we look for a secure spot on the porch or leave the item with a neighboring unit in shared residential buildings. If a specific flower is unavailable, we use a substitute of equal value that keeps the original style. Including gate codes for newer apartment complexes and the recipient's contact information reduces the chance of a failed delivery.
