Question 1

How do you handle flower deliveries to different types of locations in Ripley?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to historic riverfront buildings with apartments above businesses, specify the floor number and entry door location. Funeral home deliveries require the name of the deceased to coordinate with scheduled viewing hours. These details ensure the driver uses the correct entrance at properties where residential and commercial spaces share a single street address.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered given the layout of the city?

Accepted Answer

All flowers are hand-delivered to navigate the steep hills and narrow street-side parking found throughout the village. Provide details about porch access or if the home is reached by a flight of stone steps from the sidewalk. This information allows for a secure placement on a flat surface in an environment where buildings sit close to the road.

Question 3

What happens if the delivery cannot be completed as planned?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not home, the arrangement is left in a sheltered area on the porch or with a nearby neighbor because these residential streets lack building lobbies. If a specific bloom is unavailable, it is replaced with a flower of equal value that maintains the same look. Providing a secondary phone number for a neighbor helps prevent a failed delivery if the street-level door is locked.
