Question 1

How do you handle flower deliveries to large buildings in Newark?

Accepted Answer

Newark features several sprawling medical campuses and multi-story office buildings with restricted access. You must provide the specific department name, floor number, or suite at checkout so the driver can navigate these multi-wing facilities. Including a direct phone number for the recipient helps the driver locate the correct entrance in buildings where public access is limited to a single lobby.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered across the different layouts of Newark?

Accepted Answer

We use hand delivery to accommodate the city’s mix of dense downtown streets and residential areas with long, gravel driveways or deep setbacks. Flowers are carried directly to the door or reception desk to prevent damage that can occur with boxed shipping. Providing specific instructions for gated entries or hidden house numbers helps the driver find the correct drop-off point without delay.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery?

Accepted Answer

For residential deliveries at homes with large porches or carports common in this city, drivers will leave the arrangement in a shaded, secure spot if no one answers. If the delivery is for one of the city’s gated industrial sites or secure manufacturing complexes, the driver will call the recipient to meet at the security gate. Providing an accurate phone number for the recipient ensures the driver can coordinate a hand-off if they cannot bypass a security checkpoint.
