Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to different building types in Winchester?

Accepted Answer

For historic multi-story brick buildings downtown, provide the suite number and any entry codes for street-level doors. Residential deliveries in the surrounding hilly areas require specific descriptions for properties located down long or unpaved driveways. This information ensures the driver finds the correct entrance or unit among clustered commercial and residential blocks.

Question 2

How will my flowers be delivered in this area?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered rather than shipped in boxes to account for the steep, winding roads and narrow driveways common in this terrain. In the city center, drivers park and walk the flowers directly to reception desks or apartment doors. For properties set back from the main road, provide clear instructions regarding gate access or side entrances.

Question 3

What happens if the delivery cannot be completed as planned?

Accepted Answer

If a recipient is unavailable in the downtown core, flowers are not left on public sidewalks and will be held for a second attempt. For rural residential properties, flowers are left in a sheltered spot away from the road if the driver determines it is secure. Providing a recipient phone number helps the driver navigate properties where the house is not visible from the street.
