Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to local offices, medical facilities, and historic homes?

Accepted Answer

Provide the specific department name or suite number for deliveries to professional offices and the local medical facility. Because many residential properties in the city feature deep setbacks and long driveways, include descriptions like house color or porch location at checkout. These details ensure the courier brings the flowers directly to the door rather than leaving them at a roadside entrance.

Question 2

How are the flowers delivered and what details help avoid delays?

Accepted Answer

Every arrangement is hand-delivered to accommodate the low-density layout and historic porch styles found throughout the city. Since many properties transition from paved streets to long, unpaved private drives, clear instructions on gate codes or driveway turnoffs are essential. This method ensures the flowers are placed securely at the entrance of the home or business.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient isn't home or a flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not available, the courier will leave the flowers in a secure, shaded area on the porch, which is standard for the city's residential layout. If a specific bloom is out of stock, a substitution is made using flowers of equal value that maintain the original design’s shape. Providing the recipient's phone number helps the courier navigate challenges like fenced perimeters or large acreage properties.
