Flower Delivery in Troy, NY

The Collar City nickname stuck because Troy's mills turned out detachable shirt collars by the millions, and the money from that trade built the cast-iron blocks still standing downtown. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute looks down from the hill, Russell Sage College sits a few streets below it, and the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall fills one of the finest concert rooms in the country. Samuel Wilson, the meatpacker behind Uncle Sam, worked here. Troy is the seat of Rensselaer County, and delivery routes continue across the Hudson to Watervliet, Green Island, Cohoes, and Menands. The cutoff for same-day work is 2:00 PM, and orders that land before it are arranged and on a route the same afternoon. That window puts same-day flower delivery within reach of downtown, South Troy, Lansingburgh, and the hill around Burdett Avenue, where deliveries reach Samaritan Hospital and the Beechwood Retirement Community next door to it. Routes also serve the St. Mary's campus on Massachusetts Avenue and continue to Albany Medical Center when a patient has been moved across the river. Orders into Troy split between students' families and people who grew up here and moved away. A Troy florist partner builds each one by hand. Teleflora's Sunny Day Pitcher of Sunflowers at $84.99 travels well for a commencement weekend on the RPI hill, Teleflora's Rose Classique - Dozen Red Roses at $89.99 suits an anniversary dinner in the blocks off Monument Square, and the Goodness And Light Bouquet at $69.99 is a steady choice when funeral flowers are needed at McLoughlin & Mason on 109th Street or a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery. Every stem leaves with a 7-day freshness guarantee behind it, and blooms that fade early are replaced. Exact addresses for the Rensselaer County hospitals, funeral homes, and cemeteries named here are listed in the verified destinations directory on this page.
