Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to hospitals, offices, or secured buildings in Burlingame?

Accepted Answer

Burlingame contains sprawling medical campuses and multi-wing office buildings that often require central security check-ins. Provide the specific floor, suite number, or department name at checkout to ensure the courier reaches the correct desk. This information is necessary because many professional buildings and healthcare centers in the city have restricted elevator access.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered and how does the city layout affect the drop-off?

Accepted Answer

We hand-deliver every order to navigate Burlingame’s mix of high-density downtown streets and gated hillside residences. For deliveries to secured apartment buildings or gated properties, include the entry code or specific buzzer instructions at checkout. These details help couriers manage the limited street parking and building security protocols found throughout the city.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a specific flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not home, we look for a secure porch or a neighbor to accept the delivery, as many local homes have front doors close to the sidewalk. If a specific bloom is out of stock, we substitute it with a flower of equal value that matches the original color and style. Including a recipient phone number allows us to resolve access issues for the city's many secured lobby entrances.
