Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to medical clinics and funeral homes in Westport?

Accepted Answer

These facilities are often located in converted residential-style buildings with multiple private entrances. You must provide the specific department name or family room number at checkout. This ensures the flowers are brought to the correct side entrance rather than a general lobby.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered to properties outside the main village center?

Accepted Answer

Flowers are hand-delivered to manage the transition from paved village streets to the town’s many long, unpaved driveways. Include instructions for properties with shared access roads or homes set significantly back from the main route. These details allow for direct delivery to the door instead of leaving items at a distant roadside mailbox.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or the property is difficult to access?

Accepted Answer

Provide a gate code or specific house description if the property is located on a rural road with obscured signage. If the recipient is unavailable, the flowers are placed in a protected area near the entry most commonly used by the residents. Including a secondary phone number for the recipient helps navigate properties with long, private access points.
