Flower Delivery in Thornburg, IA

Thornburg is one of the smallest incorporated towns in Keokuk County, a handful of streets in the western part of the county with a population that has stayed under a hundred for decades. Sigourney, the county seat, is the place for the courthouse, the county health center and the Belva Deer recreation area, while Oskaloosa and Pella are where most Thornburg households go for a hospital, a hardware store or a movie. What Cheer, Delta and Keswick are the neighboring small towns, and the blacktops between them carry the school buses, the grain trucks and our delivery routes. Being small does not push Thornburg to the end of the line. Any order placed before 2:00 PM is eligible for same-day flower delivery, hand-arranged by a local florist partner rather than boxed and shipped. The run that serves Thornburg also covers Sigourney and What Cheer, so it takes in the county health center, the senior housing in Sigourney, and the funeral homes handling sympathy and funeral flowers for families across this part of Keokuk County. With this few households, a Thornburg florist sees mostly milestone orders, the kind sent by a son or daughter living in Des Moines or Iowa City. Teleflora's Hummingbird Surprise Bouquet at $69.99 is a bright, compact arrangement that fits a kitchen table and a modest budget. Teleflora's Marvelous Mosaic Bouquet at $74.99 pairs a mixed bouquet with a mosaic glass container that stays in use long afterward, which reads well for a birthday or a thank-you. For an anniversary or a Valentine's delivery, Always on My Mind - Long Stemmed Red Roses at $89.99 brings long stemmed red roses to the door without a detour through a city shop. The 7-day freshness guarantee applies to every stem, and anything that fails inside the week is replaced. The verified destinations directory on this page lists the Thornburg addresses and the surrounding Keokuk County churches, cemeteries and care facilities covered on the same route.
