Question 1

How does delivery work for medical facilities and offices in Tell City?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to the local medical campus require a specific wing or department name to ensure the driver uses the correct entrance for inpatient or outpatient areas. For residential deliveries along the sloped riverfront streets, please indicate if the entrance is at street level or requires stair access. This information allows the driver to navigate the varying terrain and park safely before hand-delivering your order.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered to homes and businesses across the city?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered rather than shipped in boxes to accommodate the historic grid layout and hilly residential sections. Drivers use street-side parking and walk the flowers to the door to avoid blocking narrow lanes near the river. Providing specific instructions for homes on steep inclines or properties with rear-entry access helps the driver complete the delivery without delay.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is at work or not available to receive the flowers?

Accepted Answer

For recipients working at the large-scale manufacturing and industrial sites near the river, flowers are left at the security gate or front office as these facilities restrict floor access. At residential properties, if no one is home, we look for a shaded, secure porch or leave the item with a nearby neighbor. Including a direct phone number for the recipient is the most effective way to coordinate a hand-off at multi-building work sites or secured properties.
