Scipio Cemetery on State Road 7 and Vernon Cemetery on South Pike Street are the nearby burial grounds, with Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon a little farther on. Sawyer-Pickett and Dove-Sharp & Rudicel in North Vernon are the closest funeral homes, and hospital deliveries run to Ascension St. Vincent Jennings on Henry Street, Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, and Columbus Regional Hospital.
