Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to businesses and homes in this area?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to the historic downtown district, you must provide the specific suite or apartment number located above the street-level storefront. For residential properties with deep setbacks from the main road, include details about the length of the driveway or any gate instructions. These details ensure the driver identifies the correct entrance among the closely grouped historic buildings and the more spread-out residential lots.

Question 2

How are the flowers delivered to ensure they arrive safely?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered directly to the door to accommodate the mix of street-side shop entrances and residential porches. In the central business district, providing information about a rear alley access point or secondary entrance helps the driver avoid the limited parking on the main thoroughfare. For residential deliveries, specify if the arrangement should be left at a side door or a covered porch to keep it away from the street-facing sidewalk.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a specific flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home, the driver will seek a secure spot on a porch or with a neighbor, which is the standard practice for this town’s residential layouts. If a specific stem is unavailable, a substitution of equal value is made to maintain the arrangement's shape and size. Including the recipient's phone number is vital for properties with long private drives to ensure the driver can confirm access before entering the lane.
