Question 1

How are deliveries handled for residences and private properties in Poquott?

Accepted Answer

This village is almost entirely residential, so deliveries are made directly to house porches rather than commercial loading docks or reception desks. Please provide gate codes or entry instructions for homes located on long driveways or private waterfront lanes. These details ensure direct access to the property on the first attempt.

Question 2

How does the village layout affect the way flowers are delivered?

Accepted Answer

Every order is hand-delivered to navigate the narrow, winding roads and steep terrain characteristic of this peninsula. We do not use boxed shipping because these residential properties require specific placement at a front or side door. Including a recipient phone number helps resolve access issues for houses set far back from the street.

Question 3

What is the process if the recipient is unavailable or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home, the delivery is left in a discreet area on the porch to keep it out of view from the road. If a specific bloom is unavailable, it is replaced with a similar variety of equal value to maintain the style of the arrangement. Providing a precise house number is the best way to prevent failed deliveries on the village’s many dead-end residential streets.
