Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to professional offices and the regional medical campus in Oakland?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to the central medical campus or downtown administrative offices, you must provide the specific building wing or department name at checkout. Many residential properties in this area are set back from rural roads, so including a description of the mailbox or entrance gate helps the driver identify the correct home. Accurate building details prevent delays in environments where house numbers are not clearly visible from the main roadway.

Question 2

Will my flowers be delivered in a box or by hand?

Accepted Answer

All flowers are hand-delivered to accommodate the town’s mix of sidewalk-access storefronts and spread-out mountain residences. Hand delivery is necessary here because many properties have steep gravel inclines or limited turn-around space that boxed shipping carriers cannot navigate reliably. Providing gate codes or specific entrance instructions ensures the driver can reach the door in more secluded residential areas.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is unavailable, the driver will leave the arrangement on a sheltered porch or at a side entrance to shield it from wind. When a specific flower is unavailable, we substitute it with a stem of equal value that maintains the same shape and size. Including the recipient's phone number is required to help the driver locate properties where GPS coordinates do not align with the physical driveway.
