Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to different types of buildings in Newark?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries are made to single-family houses and small street-level businesses. Provide the recipient’s phone number and house color for properties located on rural routes or set back from the main road. This ensures the driver identifies the correct front door on properties that lack street-side house numbers.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered throughout the local area?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered to accommodate the town’s low-density layout and lack of multi-story buildings. Most homes have open porch access, but you should note if a property has a long gravel driveway or a perimeter fence. These details allow the driver to reach the residence instead of leaving the order at a roadside mailbox.

Question 3

What happens if the delivery cannot be completed as planned?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not home, the driver leaves the flowers in a safe spot on the porch or with a neighbor. When a specific flower is unavailable, we use the local inventory to provide a substitute of equal color and value. Providing a secondary phone number helps the driver locate properties where the street name is not clearly visible from the road.
