Flower Delivery in Moundville, AL

The name comes from the mounds, and they are still the reason people drive here: Moundville Archaeological Park preserves more than two dozen earthen mounds raised along the Black Warrior River centuries before the town existed, and the University of Alabama runs the museum on the grounds. Straddling the Hale and Tuscaloosa county line on Alabama Highway 69, the town itself is small, a few blocks of storefronts, the school and the churches, with Tuscaloosa a short drive north. Routes out of Moundville also serve Akron, Sawyerville, Greensboro and Eutaw. Order before 2:00 PM and the arrangement is made and delivered the same afternoon. The afternoon route for same-day flower delivery takes in Hale County Hospital in Greensboro, the regional medical center and campus addresses in Tuscaloosa, the nursing and assisted living homes in the county, and farm addresses on the river side of Highway 69. Plenty of orders come from Tuscaloosa and Birmingham relatives, and from alumni families with ties to the park and the university. Every order is put together by hand nearby, which is how a Moundville florist gets flowers to a river-road address the same day. Dance with Me Bouquet with Red Roses at $69.99 brings red roses into a vased arrangement for an anniversary at home; Beautiful in Blue at $79.99 uses cool blue and white tones that suit a baby boy's arrival or a get-well delivery; and Teleflora's Tulip Treasure at $89.99 brings tulips for Easter services or a spring thank-you. Sympathy and funeral flowers reach the Hale County chapels and graveside services the same day when the notice comes early. Deliveries are protected by a 7-day freshness guarantee. The verified destinations directory holds the confirmed stops for Moundville and the rest of Hale County, the churches, funeral homes, the school and the park offices, which spares you a call when the address is a rural route.
