Question 1

How do you handle flower deliveries to gated communities or resorts in Lake Lure?

Accepted Answer

Many properties in Lake Lure are located within gated residential communities or private lakefront resorts that require security clearance. Provide the gate access code or the specific name of the entrance at checkout so the driver can reach the home. These details are necessary because many properties are set back on private, wooded roads where public access is restricted.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered to homes with steep mountain terrain or winding lake roads?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered because the narrow, winding roads and long gravel driveways around the lake are not suited for boxed shipping. The city’s layout of high-elevation properties and one-way lakeside paths requires direct transport to the door to prevent damage. Including notes about driveway visibility or specific property signage helps the driver navigate these secluded layouts.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or the property is inaccessible?

Accepted Answer

If a recipient is unavailable, the driver will leave the flowers in a shaded area away from the roadside or contact the sender if a gate prevents access. If a specific flower is out of stock, it is replaced with a similar variety of equal value to maintain the arrangement's size. Providing a phone number for the property manager or the resort’s front desk helps resolve access issues at gated or remote locations.
